Tips for a great Video!
THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF A VIDEO WITH ME AND EMPOWERING OTHERS!!!
In order to convey the best content to viewers, you will need to be open and honest which at times may require you to be emotional and vulnerable.
Set-Up
-It will be recorded via Zoom so a link will be sent.
-Use the highest quality camera and microphone possible.
-Make sure your internet connection is wired (if possible) and nobody else it using your internet that will bog it down.
-Do not have excessive lighting behind you which will cause a glare.
-Have the best background that you can, meaning, if possible choose a calming background that is not busy in colors or objects.
-Make sure there is enough lighting on you.
-Before starting the video, try to position the top of the participants heads to be in line with each other for a better viewing experience.
-Make sure your device is fully charged and notifications are on “Do-Not-Disturb”
-Test your equipment to make sure it’s working properly.
Conversation
Since viewers are from different organizations, please use terms a wide range of people will understand. Try to stay away from terminology that reference a specific company’s culture that someone might not understand. This also includes naming specific people or leaders in a company that an outsider would not know.
